# Bot Customization

Bot Customization lets you change how Asagi appears on a specific server.

This feature requires an active Premium bonus on that server and is available from **Dashboard → Bot Customization**.

### What You Can Customize

You can change:

* the bot **avatar**;
* the profile **banner**;
* the bot **nickname**;
* the **About the bot** bio.

These changes apply to Asagi's profile on the current server rather than changing the bot globally.

### Avatar

Select **Change avatar** and provide a public image URL.

Supported formats:

* PNG;
* JPG/JPEG;
* GIF.

The image can be up to **10 MB**. The dashboard recommends **512 × 512** for avatars.

The URL must point to an image that Asagi can access directly.

### Banner

Select **Change banner** and provide a public image URL.

The same PNG, JPG/JPEG, and GIF formats are supported, with a maximum image size of **10 MB**.

The dashboard recommends **680 × 240** for banners.

### Nickname

The bot nickname can contain from **1 to 32 characters**.

This is Asagi's nickname on the current Discord server.

### About the Bot

The profile bio can contain up to **300 characters**.

Use the live preview to check how the bio and other profile changes will appear before saving.

The right side of the page shows a preview of the current draft.

### Use the Default Avatar or Banner

Use **Use default** next to the avatar or banner to return that individual image to Asagi's standard profile asset.

The change is staged with the rest of the page and is applied when you save.

### Restore Defaults

Select **Restore defaults** when you want to return the entire server profile to Asagi's standard appearance.

This resets the avatar, banner, nickname, and bio together.

> **Important:** restoring defaults affects all four customization fields, not only the field you are currently editing.

### Premium Requirement

Without an active Premium bonus, the Bot Customization page remains visible but its customization controls are locked.

Assign Premium to the server from **Premium → Bonuses** before making changes.

### Troubleshooting

If an avatar or banner cannot be saved, check that:

* the URL starts with `http://` or `https://`;
* it points directly to a valid PNG, JPG/JPEG, or GIF image;
* the image is no larger than **10 MB**;
* the image is publicly accessible.

Discord also applies limits to how frequently some bot profile fields can be changed. If Discord temporarily rate-limits a profile field, wait for the indicated retry period and try again.

If the page is locked, confirm that the current server still has an active Premium bonus.
