# Marriage

Marriage lets members form a couple on your server, view their shared marriage profile, and end the marriage when they choose. Premium servers can also enable private **Love Rooms** for married couples.

Everything on this page is configured from **Dashboard → Community Interaction → Marriage**.

### Enable Marriage

1. Open **Marriage**.
2. Turn **Active** on.
3. Save your changes.

Once enabled, members can use the Marriage feature in Discord. A member can only be part of one marriage on the same server at a time.

A proposal must be accepted by the other member before the marriage is created. Asagi can then generate a shared marriage profile showing the couple and the date their marriage started.

### Love Rooms

**Love Rooms Creation** is a Premium feature that gives married couples their own temporary voice room.

Enable **Love Rooms Creation** and save your changes. Asagi creates the required Discord structure automatically, including a category, a control-panel text channel, and a voice channel used to create Love Rooms.

### How Love Rooms Work

When a married member joins the Love Rooms creation channel, Asagi creates a room for the couple, moves that member into it, and gives both partners access.

If the couple already has an active Love Room, joining the creation channel moves the member to the existing room instead of creating another one. The room is deleted automatically after it becomes empty.

New Love Rooms are created with a Discord user limit of **2**.

### Edit Style

**Edit Style** changes the emoji theme used by the Love Rooms control panel.

Choose the style you prefer and save the changes. The selected style changes the appearance of the controls.

### Edit Control Panel

The Love Rooms control panel has two configurable actions:

| Control     | What it does                       |
| ----------- | ---------------------------------- |
| **Rename**  | Changes the current Love Room name |
| **Privacy** | Hides or shows the room            |

You can disable either action from **Edit Control Panel**. The dashboard preview updates to reflect the selected style and enabled controls.

### Room Settings

**Default room name** controls the name used when a new Love Room is created.

The default template is:

`{{ user1.username }} ❤️ {{ user2.username }}`

The room name can contain up to **50 characters** and supports the Love Rooms variables available in the editor.

Room owners can also rename the active room from the control panel when **Rename** is enabled.

### Reserve Categories

**Reserve Categories** lets Asagi continue creating Love Rooms when the main Love Rooms category reaches Discord's channel limit.

1. Enable **Reserve Categories**.
2. Select one or more category channels. You can also create a new category from the selector.
3. Save your changes.

When the main category is full, Asagi uses the first configured reserve category that still has room for another channel.

### Disabling Love Rooms

Turning **Love Rooms Creation** off requires confirmation. When the change is saved, Asagi deletes active Love Room voice channels together with the Love Rooms control and creation channels.

### Permissions and Troubleshooting

Love Rooms requires Premium and depends on Discord channel and role permissions. Asagi needs sufficient access to create channels, configure their permission overwrites, and move members into newly created rooms.

If a Love Room cannot be created, check permissions such as **Manage Channels**, **Manage Roles**, and **Move Members**.

If a member is disconnected from the creation channel instead of receiving a room, make sure they currently have a marriage on that server.

If a required Love Rooms resource is deleted or permissions become unavailable, Asagi can surface the problem through dashboard notifications.
